Frank, we've "tolerated" dozens and dozens of messages about your off-topic
problem, many of which -- the ones that remedied it -- might more
appropriately have been sent to you privately. They are not about XyWrite --
none of them. Zero. Why in the world would I want to "follow the dialogue"?
I erased most of them without reading. What do you imagine that anyone
here learns from these seventy-odd messages? Or from opening your
attachments? What? Why not just swallow your pride and move on?

IMO, this isn't a "society", where people must get along without
friction, because they need each other in manifold ways -- as in a small
village. Neither is it a "support group", which connotes a mutual
hold-your-hand ethic. Ideally, IMO, it's a command line utility, where pithy
questions are posed (with the right syntax), and pithy responses proferred.
That's why I'm here, anyway -- I get other satisfactions elsewhere.

You spoke of Rene's purported "rudeness" as "the equivalent of road rage, of
blind intolerance". Don't you think that's a slight overstatement?
"Blind"? Rene's not blind. He knows the rules, and hey, he's right, Frank!
Who screwed up, anyway? Then you proposed the preposterous syllogism that "it
doesn't do the people who use XyWrite any justice" (Rene is rude, Rene uses
XyWrite, ergo "the people" who use XyWrite are rude; or are you rather
demanding "justice" for yourself, as an exemplar of the XyWrite user? which
is it? if the latter, do we *owe* you something?) "Road rage"? Heavens.
The truth, Frank, is that *you* goofed, innocently; but instead of just
taking the heat, as novices and initiates sometimes must, you
lash out at your critics with very broad strokes: "it's just
plain bad behaviour", "you wouldn't speak to a stranger" thus -- that sort
of thing. Give us all a break, and drop it.
