Point about Parallels taken (from Lisa's reports so far), but no such
problem with DOS-only usage under VPC. I can move things through
peripherals as well as to and from the Mac HD at will.

spirit of the statement rings true. The important thing, for longevity,
is to get versions of VPC that are made for OS X. When OS X goes, Flash,
you and I may be left with VPC and OS X much the way we're left with XY
and DOS, but then who know what retrocompatibility might be yet to come
with OS X's (unforeseeable?) successor?
