To the best of my knowledge, ramdisks are not
permitted under NT or later versions of Win. Same for
virtual device drivers (VXDs). An alternative might
be something like Daemon Tools, which simulates a
mounted CD. (?)
Thanks, Jordan, et al. I don't think this is a big enough issue to worry
others about. I can always proceed awkwardly as now. I need it only about
once a year.
