I was going to suggest @LWR ==> @UPR; good move. In any event,
CheckU2dupes works. I wish, though, that it wouldn't simply exit on
encountering a duplicate framename, but offer the option to continue
checking. Some of my identically-named frames aren't duplicates; they
may be two different versions of the same routine that I'm
experimenting with. So, an option to ontinue or eit would be
welcome.

That said, I think LNLN is faster. Try this frame U2U2:

XPLeNCODE v2.0 (ENCODE.EXE)
b-gin [UNTITLED]
{123}{123}5u2u2{125}{125} Find duplicate framenames in U2 {091}
CLD{093}[cr|lf]{002}[JM_]2.hlist[Q2_][BX_]ch [wC][wC] [wC][Q2_]
[BX_]wait[Q2_][JM_]2.lnln[Q2_]{<}IF{<}va$fe{>}>0{>}[TF_]{<}PRN
o dupes found{>}{<}EX{>}{<}EI{>}[BC_]lnln[GT_]{<}PRHit again to continue searching for dupes{>}{002}[cr|lf][cr|lf]
-nd
XPLeNCODE
