Yes, Win98 could be part of the problem. Another of our band of
doughty survivors who is using 4.018 with Win95 can no doubt tell
us that.
No--I use 4.018 on Win98 and need no .log files at all.
Keep in mind that you will not only need, in your XY directory, a
file called .log (not log.), but you will also
need a line in your startup.int that says
BX login Q2
I think it's been suggested that *having* it in startup.int is the problem.
I don't have it.
