 see what Robert has to say about your suggestion below,
 since I am not too clear on what this NTVDM file does.
 If Robert says it's ok, and I still get a crash, then
 you can speak to Thomas. But your suggestion may work,
 and so you won't need to speak to Thomas.

 If you are using a laptop and a desktop, what do your
 two systems say about this NTVDM file? Are they the
 same size on each machine?, and does the laptop have
 three versions like mine does?, and which of the three
 is the important, ...I suspect that it may be the one
 in dir I386.
