Any indication as to when or whether the long-promised Smart
Words beta would be released to us? Several months ago Kenny
Frank said they'd sell us the beta version of the engine for our own
use.

I would like to mention that I, along with several other members of the
University Press community, recently saw a demo of the Smart
Words
Engine, at the TGRP offices. I have been trying to get a report to you
all but several of the people who attended last month have been on
vacations. I hope to have it ready shortly.

I was majorly impressed, as were my colleagues.
