My point is that in XYDOS, If you have two files in horizontally
(or vertically) divided windows on the same screen, and you close
one of them and open a new one, expecting that it will occupy the
same half-screen, it doesn't. It occupies a full screen. Seeing
it and the other file that is still open involves additional
manipulation.

In PC-WRITE, which I simply mention as a much smaller shareware
program, the two windows stay where you put them. If you enter
one and call a new file, it opens in that window.
