Should be in the BIOS. Mine all have a setting for NUMLOCK status, but
then I don't seem to have any Award BIOS PC s around here. I think,
though, that if you look in the archives, where this question was
canvassed at some length, you'll find that XP apparently can overrule
the BIOS (IIRC). Look under NUMBLOCK too, as some people were spelling
it that way, probably facetiously.
