No, there was never a connection. And in answer to an eariler
question (it may have been yours) the names XyWrite and XyQuest
were chosen by Dave Erickson for no really good reason-- he was
driving down the street and saw the name SystemQuest and thought
that XyQuest would be a good name for his company. XyWrite
followed. Wish it were a sexier story.
