Very much off-topic but I hope of interest:

Does anyone know the histories of Dave Erickson and John Hild, the original authors of XyWrite? If
they’re still around, I could ask them directly, but, meanwhile, I’m curious whether
there’s any non-privacy-invading information out there about their backgrounds, education,
non-XyWrite careers, and later life? All I know is that they worked for ATEX in Bedford, Mass., and
then founded XyWrite. But is there more to learn?
