-> ... TTG has issued Y2K patches for XY4 DOS ... Will any of
-> these "work" for XY4 DOS running in a VDM under OS/2?

I just tested 4.018 vs. 4.017 under Warp 4 with FixPak 6, as
follows:

Set the system date ahead one year, to 9/15/2000. Created a TEST
file, SAved it to disk, then called up a DIRectory. In 4.017 the
file date reads "9-15-:0"; in 4.018 it reads correctly as "9-15-00".
Same results with DIRL.

Next, I opened a file in draft view and issued the soft date command
"DA yy". In 4.017, what should be the two-digit year displays as
"100"; in 4.018 it displays correctly as "00". Same results with
"VA $DAyy". The results print to screen (TYS) as expected.

As I understand it, that's all the patch was designed to fix, so it
seems to work as advertised.
