At one point Carl (I think) gave me a routine for seeing what color
values looked like as you try them out. Unfortunately, it seems to
have been in one of those posts that went south when my old hard drive
shorted out: I cannot find it anywhere in my archive. U2, however, has
a Table Colors  routine that shows you what all colors look
like on your system. If none of them are blinking, I'd suspect
something in your Windows configuration changed. Or one could (as I
shall do) search the XyWWWeb archive on colors and see if Carl's
routine shows up.
