Probably a stupid question, but what is wrong with using the
XY-Word filter in XY-Win?
The last Win version it lists is 2, but later WinWord versions
can read them just fine.

Unfortunately, it's not a stupid question. The WFW filters to a man tend to add
spaces in odd places, like in the middle of words. Why XyQuest or TTG didn't
have someone write an XPL routine to convert XyW to RTF is beyond me.
