Re: XyWrite Development

I hardly think Carter can be accused of jumping to conclusions in
"asking ... no, I am begging you to reconsider your decision to
discontinue development on XyDOS." Kenneth Frank posted on Sun 26

Kenneth Frank: The ambiguity rather confuses me. Are you saying
now that TTG will continue to sell but won't continue to develop
or support DOS products?

Personally, I'd like to see TTG make "downgrades" available in
the sense that
Coca-Cola "downgraded" from New Coke to Classic Coke. I won't be
upgrading my xyDos 4.011 because sloppy documentation of v4
function redefinitions makes porting masses of v3 xpl code
hazardous and as a protest against being charged for v3 support
... but I'd be delighted to pay for a downgrade from v3.56 to
v3.55 for the AR function. --Annie
