But, for Mimi's benefit, I hasten to add that both XyWrite 4 and
XyWrite for Windows come with a set of Common User Access (CUA)
menus and keyboard files. With the menus, people unfamiliar with
XyWrite can access often-used File, Editing, Formatting and other
functions with the same keystrokes they use in Windows word
processors. It can go a long way to easing the shock and outrage
some may feel at being asked to use something other than Word.

At the same time, for old-timers who are comfortable in Xy3, you can
configure both Xy4 and XyWin (especially Xy4) to "look and feel"
like the older program. You can even lengthen the command line in
XyWin, and move it up to the top of the screen. For overall
stability, though, Xy4 is the way to go.
