Re: Quit VDP

Harry and other new users,

If you are using the vDosPlus XyWrite installer
(http://www.lexitec.fi/xywrite/vDosPlus501_Setup.zip), all this is
automatically taken care of when you opt for "Add a command to start
XyWrite to AUTOEXEC.TXT" (at the final stage of the install dubbed
"Finalize vDosPlus XyWrite setup"). Remember that you can change options
like this without messing up with your setup just by rerunning the
installer and opting for "Restore values from previous AUTOEXEC.BAT and
CONFIG.TXT files" (option available on the same "Finalize..." screen).
The installer does NOT touch your XyWrite installation in any case, and
you have to copy manually any additions that come with the installer
package and belong to the XyWrite directory (like new printer files,
some of which are much better than anything previously available).

When I quit VDP (vDosPlus), I'm left at a command prompt, which I then have to exit manually. Probably long-time VDP users have a solution already. Please pass it on, if you do.
