Re: [Poll] Sound support feature in vDos-lfn for XyWrite

Hi Carl,

Thanks! This is very useful. Now I can hear the customized sound when using XyWrite or Nota Bene in vDos-lfn. On the other hand, no sound comes out when using either of them in vDosXy or original vDos. This is to be expected, I think.

Wengier,

In both XyWrite and Nota Bene for DOS, the command to set the error
beep is

D EB=x,y

where

x is a value from 0 to 65535 representing the pitch (high to low), and
y is a value from 0 to 65535 representing the duration (short to long)

of the beep produced by an error. D EB=0,0 turns the error beep off.
The easiest way to produce an error is to clear the command line with
F5, and hit F9 (or F10 in Nota Bene), which is used to execute a
command. This triggers an error because there is no command to execute.

Hope this helps.
