Regarding my request for a tilde fix for html coding, Dan Kanagy
suggested:
"You could use DF DH to assign the soft hyphen to some other
character you seldom use, and then display the tilde all the
time."

Well, what *won't* they think of next?  For reasons too boring
to repeat,
I use v3.52; DF DH not only doesn't work, executing it creates
weird display side effects. So ... I just loaded my v3.56:

Of course DF DH works exactly as advertised and solves the tilde
problem for anyone not using a seven-and-a-half-year-old v3.
