Re: Alt-Tab For Windows

Ah, at last, a question even I can answer! If you will inspect your keyboard
(.KBD) file, under the ALT table at key 14, you will find that function DR is
assigned to ALT-TAB (14=DR). It matters not if you even load _any_ .KBD file
(I think -- because this is probably a default). One of the glories of XY is
that virtually everything that is mapped can be re-mapped elsewhere. So, if
you happen to like the Tab Ruler menu (some do, some don't), it is merely a
question of where you would like to relocate it. I don't know what other
hotkeys Windows may intercept. Perhaps Shift-Tab or Ctrl-Tab or ALT-Shift-Tab
are open, or maybe you will think of another combo that is mnemonic to you. In
that case, simply move "=DR" over to that key. Most longtime XY users have
their own keyboard files in which they have collected favorite macros over
time. If you haven't made use of .KBD files, I'm sure one of us can post a
sample here for you, and the illustration will prove of much more value than a
tutorial.
