Re: XyWrite in full screen mode on Win7 32 bit

I'd say the problem to solve is the 1/6 screen size. Could that be
down to fonts? Would changing the fonts in the properties (upper left
hand icon) make the screen bigger? I use Lucida Console at 24 pt and
that makes for a very nice 43-line Xy4 window on Win7-32. I haven't
quite got Xy4 on Win7-64 working to my satisfaction, and the
WinXPmode environment seems ever so slightly sluggish.

If so, install the driver, and you'll have full-screen DOS. There is information here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926657 I've never tried this. There are probably trade-offs involved. Some Win7 video effects will be sacrificed, and I've read that XP video drivers can cause crashes in Win7. Nevertheless, it may work for you. -- Carl Distefano cld@xxxxxxxx
