Onscreen fonts in XyWin

Can any colleagues tell me how to get a legibly large onscreen font in
XyWin? When I switched from a 486 PC running Win3.1 (with a 15" monitor) to
a Pentium III running Win98 (with a 17" monitor), my onscreen font seemed
to shrink to almost invisible -- I find myself lying to the file (as it
were) and temporarily inserting a ≪SZ18PT≫ so that I can halfway read, in
WYSIWYG mode (which most of us agree is unsatisfactory for drafting &
editing), a document that will eventually be printed out in SZ10.6PT or
thereabouts.

I seem to recall that there was some correspondence on this a while back.
Can anyone help me out?
