Re: Memory problems with XyDOS (4) under Win98?

Nathan -
Re copying or cutting text in a DOS window in Win9x to put it on the clipboard:

You don't use the Xy commands.
Click on the left-most thingie in the DOS box header (or right click on the title bar)
Click Edit.
Click Mark.
Use your mouse to highlight text in the Xy window.
Press Enter.
Your text is now on the *Windows* clipboard.

Use the same pull-down menu to Paste from the Windows clipboard (text you picked up from a Windows
program, for instance).

You can set up the DOS box view to contain a command bar of icons that make marking, copying, and
pasting text easier. I'm working from NT4 right now, and if it has a way to use the icons, I haven't
discovered it yet.

I hope this is helpful and I'm not just retelling something that you've already discovered not to
work.
