Okay, this is definitive. Using Xy w/o TAME, I start with a fresh launch, then do this:1.cd c:\xy\ud 2. ca dummy.tmp (it's already in there from before) 3. sa/nv dummy.bak "Access denied" 4. Retry (XC) the same command. "Access denied"5. Go to the command line, and backspace-out the /nv part of the existing command."Done" And DUMMY.BAK indeed shows in the UD directory. So it's the /nv!!!
