Icons in taskbar OT

Making the transition between old and new computers is hard--even when both
are XP. It's days and days of work.
Incidentally, since I can't get Tame to work on the new computer, I'm
(temporarily) going back to "plain" (non-Tame) Xy, and although the new
Lenovo laptop is superfast, the cursor-slowness & jerkiness is if anything
*worse* than on my previous laptop.
Does anyone recall how to get the icons changed for what shows up in the
little tab in the taskbar, and for the icon that shows up in the window
title bar? The new icon for Firefox shows up okay on the shortcut itself,
but not on the taskbar or title bar. I forget how to remedy this. Thanks.
