I installed Win95 on my home PC which had Win 3.1 and XW.
Everything works better than it ever did, except for the poorly
thought out dialog boxes which seem to make the latest version of
XW a bit more cumbersome to use than than the previous version
(4.11). Examples: files do not open by double clicking only, a
stupid dialog box asks again if you "really" want to open the
file; in file manager, words can not be added without a dialog
box asking if the word should be all upper case, and I could go
on, but I have already sent in my list of stupid features that
need to be looked at and redone.

I liked the quickness and the feel of XW on Win95 so much that I
removed by OS/2 version 2.11 off my office machine, put in a 1 GB
hard drive, Win95, and reloaded XW. At the office, I an using a
486 PS/2 with 32 MB of RAM and XW is a joy to use except for the
"rough edges." Comparing XW in Win95 to XW on OS/2 is that on
Win95, the program runs more elegantly and feels fun to use.
