One mystery solved! The spurious words I encountered when SPELL checking
the MAGELLAN.SKP file against itself are explained. In its Germanic
language sections there are a few multi-word phrases, which Magellan of
course deals with in its own way. But XyWrite of course sees them as an
order to substitute one for another. Having done that, it will now not find
the new word in the first position, so declares it a misspelling. There are
only a handfull of these, and they can easily be edited manually from
MAGELLAN.SKP. Jim.
