Interesting. But the questioner doesn't indicate 1) the operating system he is
using, and 2) whether those 5e/6 "choices" are offered by the operating system
(drivers bundled with it) or on some HP disk. Whether he is installing the
software layer used by the operating system (the Ctrl-P "Print" dialog that
comes up when you print from Windows programs -- completely useless to
XyWrite), or firmware loaded in printer memory (useful).
