Hi Carl,

I have noticed that the background for the superscript and subscript is still blue instead of black in your screenshot. Now for WP=XY you can also optionally set a second parameter to specify the background color, e.g. "WP = XY,0". Hope this will be useful.

I was finally able to get visible superscript/subscript by loading an
font called Px437_IBM_VGA9.ttf:

The font is part of a package of "old-school" fonts that can be
downloaded here:
