Re: OT: some questions for our Apple + Parallels Users

Even if the computer in question was developing problems -- as opposed to the OS starting to go bad -- that image predates the problems.  We are also fortunate to have a near-identical desktop rig that was built at the same time, which has sat mostly unused for the last few years.

I'm glad to get your comments on this, Manuel.  Kari always has good insight on these things too.  If Ed M. or Harry or Flash have anything to say on the subject, I will welcome their input as well.  I think there must be a working path to a solution for this.  I just need to chart the best course.

Kari,

As usual, you're right. Jordan needs a working computer and the XP
Acrois image could be hardware dependent...
By the way: my first XP virtual machine was a VirtualBox one.
Afterwards, I imported that virtual machine from Parallels and, later,
the Parallels virtual machine was copied to another computer and
accepted by a differente (older) version of Parallels.
Best wishes,
Manuel
