Even though Apple HAS given back to the Open Source community, I'm curious as to what you would like
Apple to share? I was under the impression that you felt their products were lacking.

If I have a problem with Adobe
programs, for example, it's that some of them have a lot of
power but relatively little control -- e.g. Acrobat has
impoverished control compared to Ghostscript, even though the
Distiller engine
makes higher-quality PDFs.

What are you trying to get Acrobat to do? (Acrobat is scriptable via Javascript for gratis.)
