Just tried Tame Pre9. It didn't fix what were my idiosyncratic problems (about cursor-control using weird ctrl keys) and I don't know if it helps others' remaining issues. But I wonder if anyone else gets problems with repeated shelling to DOS.Maybe Michael or someone would try this in Pre9 a few times: In Xy: DOS/nv In the resulting DOS prompt: Exit Harry Binswanger hb@xxxxxxxx
