Cool! No stupid Windows flag any more, just a long wait. Another idea:
Couldn't I change it back to logo=1 and change the picture a .bmp file of
my kids? I presume there must be logon and logoff pictures somewhere on the
disk. Did Microshaft design a trapdor that prevents replacement?

Oh. I have long discarded the "Explorer" anyway and replaced with a
shareware called "WinCommander" which is infinitely better and almost
XYwrite like in its directness and no-nonsense approach. Has a command
line, too, so you have your DOS prompt, only with more power.

Thanks! This sort of stuff I like. Do you know DR.COM, which is the DOS
"DIR" command as it *should* have been? Very often, a DR as all I need to
do some housecleaning on the disk. Anybody interested?
