Freelance Copyeditor Wanted

University of Illinois Press seeks a freelance copyeditor for a
quarterly journal on American music. 128 printed pages (6 x 9")
per issue; articles, book reviews, recording reviews. Duties
include copyediting and entering authors'/editor's corrections
on disks. (No proofs.)  Approx. 60 hrs. work per issue.

Applicants should possess min 1 yr experience using XyWrite
(preferably 4.0) for redlining and should be willing to provide
a sample disk containing a chapter/article on which their work
can be reviewed. Please also indicate any background in music,
provide a list of books/journals copyedited for scholarly
publishers, and state expected hourly rate.
