Re: The first xy



Thanks to Tim Baehr for this very interesting
xywrite history.

If all copyright problems would be resolved
(SMILE) we will be able to get all xy versions
and documentation and macros and....
on a single CD,
a sort of XyWrite Museum...

Two questions:

-"The two geniuses behind XyWrite were Dave
Erickson and John Hild" have no email addr.,
tel num. etc ?

-xy3 code is about 180k, xy4 700k, and xy4 does
not run all functions without other big files
..dlg and .mnu, so xy4 doesn't not fit on a
single 1.44 floppy. Why is xy4 so big ?
