As for making XY special characters printable, you want to ask
Kevin, not Mr. Frank. He got a number of them printing for me.
One result was a revised Laserjet 4+ driver about 8 mos. ago, now
standard, I believe, that will print real quotes, en dash, etc.
with any built-in font. If your XYDOS driver doesn't, you can
download it from the TG
BBS. Comparing the old and new versions will show you how to do
it.
