A shareware company, JPSOFT (I expect it can be found on the Web, also in
CompuServe, PCVENB) has command line utilities 4DOS, and TCMD for DOS and
Windows respectively. In addition to some very useful command line
capabilities, their suites offer some very useful utilities for file
finding, listing, etc. These are very accessible from the XyWrite command
line, after the DOS command. Their batch programming abilities can do lots
of useful things beyond plain DOS commands. Worth investigating for anyone
who likes command lines.
