Re: glitch putting Xywrite on Windows XP

When I change the Cmd line from

Cmd line: E:\xy\editor.exe

to

Cmd line: %systemroot%\system32\cmd.exe /c e:\xy\solve.bat

the short-cut no longer works. When I click on it, I get the following message:

16 bit MS-DOS subsystem
E:\Document~1\Lynn\Desktop\Editor.pif
Invalid program file name
Please check your pif file

Your instructions for launching Xy from a CMD session work perfectly -- but of course, I'd like to launch Xy from the desktop icon.

As noted earlier, the two lines for Windows pif setting in the Properties box are:

autoexec filename: %SystemRoot%\System32\AutoExec.NT
config filename: %SystemRoot%\System32\Config.NT

I'm sure the reason this isn't working is something quite basic -- but what??

Do I insert %systemroot%\system32\cmd.exe /c e:\xy\solve.bat at Batch file?
At Shortcut key?

No, in the "Cmd line" field.
