It does seem as though the NI fix alleviates the problem -- under
Xywrite -- and RH's suggestion is great.

However, my experience is that backleveling IBMKBD.SYS fixes OS/2
keyboard problems with other applications & there seems to be a sort of
usenet concensus about this. So, do both.
