Jordan,In my case I used the ERD but I uncheked the boot sector repair box. So, I could save my booting scheme. So, I booted from the installation CD and then I used my ERD disk. Recovery Console was useless: it didn't ask me my password and then I was unable to access system directories to repair them (access denied).Manuel Castelao
