Some item categories on eBay have become notorious for semi-unbelievable asking prices. To what extent this can be successful is another question. However, I can tell you that a said to be lower-use Avant Stellar recently closed at around $300., and though they don't turn up very often I've seen others go for more like $400. The Omnikeys are not as rare.

Funny ... I've got one similar to that sitting next to my desk ... maybe I should hang on to it! Never thought an old mechanical keyboard would become a collector's item, seemingly.

beyond all reason, perhaps. (And there is much chatter about the difficulty of obtaining one that is in fully functional condition.)

Meanwhile, as advised, I am in the process of exchanging the Unicomp keyboards -- hopefully for the correct model.
