Wellwhaddayaknow! I just renamed ALT, SHIFT and CTRL (to XALT, SHFT
and CNTL) and -- presto! -- the keyboard now behaves itself.
"Arpeggiando" no longer necessary to execute Shift+Ctrl key
combinations; everything seems back to normal. I can once again
type allegro con mosso scherzando, and the keys all play along in
tempo. Grazie, Maestro!
