Re: mac filing system



Remember, assuming your using OS X, that at any time you can open a Terminal window and have full
access to the Unix filesystem and internals. (MS-DOS file operations are a subset of the Unix file
operations.)

Also, fwiw, you may want to check out Midnight Commander. It is a Unix version of the Norton
Commander with a lot of extra functionality. I use it for managing my files. You will have to
download it and compile it for your Mac, but it IS doable. (There may also be some binaries around
as well.)

Also if you don't want a character interface, you may want to check out Path-Finder. It is a Finder
replacement that offer a lot of file manipulation operations, within a GUI interface.
