as of 10.6.2. MS Office seems to be a problem too.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg. Numerous advanced font
services, previously available to all Apple apps, seem to be
permanently lost. The code that ran them was taken out as part of the
space-saving measures that are one of SL's main selling points.
