Screen colors

As I mentioned, I have five XyW setups to fix the screen colors on, and a
nonexistent visual memory. So I came up with the following aide-mémoire.
It's a plain XyWrite doc that when called displays all your current L
default settings. I suggest calling it on a horizontally split screen,
with Help Colors  in the other half. Unfortunately, it won't
change as you change your values (with the Default LX=NN,NN, and so on
command), but you can just abort and recall to get the new values
displayed. Once you have a set you like the look of, call the file (it's
colorval.txt on my system; name it what you like)) to be sure you have
the latest values displayed, then print it and use the printout to make
sure you enter things correctly in settings.dfl. (Maybe someday I'll add
a routine to write the values to a text file that could be cut and pasted
into settings.dfl; that would be simple enough, it's the trapping loops
to know when you've finished tinkering that would be tricky.)
