I can let you have two macros that convert formatters between Xy3 and Xy4 I developed in 1994 when my department upgraded from XyWrite 3 to 4.

The catch is that the whole system was customised for our specific tutorial letter format and my
XyWrite 3 printer driver.

But I am sure there would still be a lot of common ground and you could strip out the unnecessary
stuff.
