   My thanks to the various people who offered suggestions about my problems
in running XyWrite (some privately). I might still wish to reply to some
points, but need a bit of time to go through them properly and decide what I
should reply to, and I'm a bit late catching up with this list now. (I'd
probably like to reply to every point, but it would take up too much time, and
might clog up the list rather, too.)
