No. I save files to the hard disk, like everyone else. Periodically I do
ordinary backups (whole Win32 drives) to a 120Gb Firewire drive, not CDs. I
backup single applications, or logical clusters of files, to CD occasionally.
I usually use freeware CDRecord, out of old habit -- a Unix app with manual
controls, and no "Wizards" -- but there are many available CD burning apps
nowadays. Nero has a lot of command line power, I'm just not sure it can write
single files on the fly.
