OT: tip for Laptop users

Just in case you ever have the experience I did several months ago, which I
should have posted on at the time . . .

My HP Pavilion laptop began, intermittently, just shutting off, dead,
without warning. I thought it was a power issue, but the little shop around
the corner found the problem: overheating caused by cat hair and assorted
junk clogging things up.

He cleaned it. Problem solved. Now I periodically shoot compressed air into
the air vent and have had no problems since.
