Re: XY-4 and OS/2 Experience

OS/2 (the full version) comes with Windoz built in -- and then IBM put out
the OS/2 For Windoz version as a cheaper package for those who already had
Windoz on their machine, and also, BTW, for those who hate windoz and wouldn't
run ANY windoz app under any circumstances, thus saving them quite a bit of
drive space. If you don't use Windoz apps, get that version. Or, if you do use
windoz apps, you already have windoz, so get that version of OS/2 3.0.
And yes, Mark, XY (any version) runs fantastically well in OS/2, much better
than in DOS, anyway (faster, more stable, etc.) and you can use it as the
editor for other programs, which is what I do -- like right now, using it with
Yarn for off-line reading and replying.
Also, by the by, I think we will Real Soon Now be seeing a native OS/2
version of XY, full 32bit multithreaded and all. Or so a little bird told me.
